Welcome to my practice. My name is Paola Gancman. I am a certified professional Life Coach with a Masters in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and over 20 years of experience in the fields of education and psychology. I have a private practice in Sherman Oaks, where I works with parents, teens and young adults on a wide range of life challenges and transitions (parenting, stress management, relationships, and much more). I invite you to take a moment to learn more about life coaching and contact me with any questions.
LIFE KEEPS TEACHING US THE SAME LESSONS, UNTIL WE ARE READY TO LEARN THEM...
Support That Makes a Difference
INDIVIDUAL 1:1 LIFE COACHING
EMBRACING LIFE'S CHALLENGES
Life challenges are not an indication of dysfunction or pathology; they are an indication that we need to look at life from a different perspective.
I work with clients on:
Parenting: discipline, communication, parenting stages, child development stages and milestones
Balancing life roles
Teen & Young Adults: School transitions (i.e. Elementary to Middle School to High School to College)
Transitioning and navigating adolescence (i.e. physical, emotional and social changes)
Time management and organization skills for students transitioning into Middle School, High School and College
Understanding and coping with big emotions
Self-care for teens and young adults
REAL LIFE SOLUTIONS
CREATING CHANGE ONE STEP AT A TIME
My process includes exploration, discovery and taking action. It focuses on doing more of what works and less of what doesn't work. It is a process of discovery to help you reach your goals by healing from the past, focusing on the present, setting goals that will impact your future and creating change by taking action using real life tools. When working together you can expect:
An assessment of your current life
Organization and time management tools
4 weeks (4 sessions / 1 per week)
6 weeks (6 sessions / 1 per week)
8 weeks (8 sessions / 1 per week)
Each session is 60 minutes
My process is about meeting my client where he/she is and moving forward one step at at time.
